Ramen Kits in Mason Jars
Easy pre-prepared ramen meal for busy times in our lives.
Ingredients
- 3 oz ramen noodles – gluten free
- 2 teaspoons chicken broth powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup freeze-dried vegetables
- 3/4 cup freeze-dried chicken (or other meat)
While waiting the 10 minutes (optional):
- shredded cabbage
- hardboiled egg
- thinly sliced or shredded carrots
- edamame
- mushrooms
- sesame oil
Instructions

In a wide mouth quart jar, add dried ramen noodles, broken up

Sprinkle the broth powder and garlic powder of the top.

Include the vegetables and meat.

Vacuum seal the jar.
Hyrdation instruction when ready to eat:

Pour boiling water over ingredients in the jar, and wait 10 minutes, stir occasionally.

During the 10 minutes, add/prepare additional options. Let them steep in the hot water to semi cook.

Stir again and pour into a medium bow. Ready to eat!!!
Recipe Notes
The gluten free noodles I found at Costco. The title of them are Rice Ramen Noodles by Lotus Foods, in an orange bag. There are 12 blocks of ramen. I prefer thicker noodles and these are just right.
There are also lighter and thinner rice noodles available online to met your gluten free requirements.
